Custom Agents
Roles, models, instructions, and avatars — build your own preset.
Quack ships four presets — Milo (Builder), Nora (Debugger), Vera (Reviewer), Lia (Companion, no edits) — plus Jack, the project-manager persona. You can create your own from the Team view.
What you can configure
- Name and one-line role
- Avatar — pick from the built-in set or upload your own
- Default model tier and effort
- Output style
- Default permission mode
- Free-form instructions, appended to the system prompt
Creating one
Open the Team view, click to add an agent, and fill in the fields above. Custom presets are saved to your project; built-in presets can be tweaked too, with a reset-to-default option if you want the original back.
A note on trust
Instructions on custom presets are treated as unverified input by the underlying model — same caution as any other user-supplied text — so don't expect a custom instruction to override safety behavior.
